Materials

  • 1 length of white satin ribbon, 50 cm
  • Fine-point permanent pen

Method

  1. Write the problem or impasse you need to resolve along the length of the white ribbon.
  2. Tie the first knot firmly at the centre, visualising control over the situation.
  3. Tie a second knot at the left end and a third at the right end.
  4. Keep the knotted ribbon inside a heavy book until the matter is resolved. When a resolution is reached, undo the knots and discard the ribbon.
